I hold a Ph.D., from IIIT Bangalore, done under the guidance of Dr. Srinivas Vivek where I worked on cryptanalysis of protocols employing homomorphic encryption schemes. Before I moved into the academic world, I was at Cisco Systems India, Bangalore, and have a total work experience of about 20 years, with 18 years at Cisco Systems in multiple roles spanning across the US and India, and before that at Wipro Systems Bangalore for about 2 years. I have completed my M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Kansas under Prof. Doug Niehaus where I worked on real-time kernels. I have a B.E. in Computer Science from University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE), Bangalore. In my free time, I like to travel and listen to Carnatic Music.
